NDSU Back On Top Of CSJ’s FCS Top-25 Poll

PHILADELPHIA, PA. — North Dakota State regained the top spot this week in the College Sports Journal Football Championship Subdivision Top-25 poll with a narrow 21-17 victory at Missouri State in Missouri Valley Football Conference play.

 

This marks the fourth straight week there has been a different No. 1 team.

 

Georgia Southern fell from first to seventh after suffering a 31-28 loss at home to Appalachian State. 

 

 

 

Three teams, No. 17 Albany, No. 23 Tennessee State and No. 24 Sacramento State fell out of the poll after losses.

 

Albany was blanked 30-0 at home by Wagner, Tennessee State was upset 49-28 by Murray State and Sacramento State dropped a narrow 20-17 decision to No. 3 Montana State.

 

Tennessee-Martin, Harvard and Eastern Illinois moved into the poll in the 23rd through 25th spots. Tennessee-Martin stopped Jacksonville State 47-45, Harvard demolished Columbia 69-0 and Eastern Illinois held off Tennessee Tech 31-24.
