2017 In A Sentence:It was a tale of two halves for Missouri last season, as a 1-5 train wreck of a start gave way to a six-game winning streak in which points came in bunches but ended with a loss in the Texas Bowl to Texas to finish 7-6 overall.

Biggest Shoes to Fill: WR J’Mon Moore He led the team in receiving his final three seasons with the Tigers. His 1,012 yards as a junior led the Southeastern Conference (SEC). He finished his career with 158 receptions for 2,477 yards and 21 touchdowns. He was a 4th round NFL Draft selection of the Green Bay Packers this pas spring.

Key Player: QB Drew Lock threw for 3,964 yards and a whopping 44 touchdowns to go with 13 interceptions and helped the team score over 45 points per game. The now-senior was named as the first team All-SEC team last year but one area of improvement is to increase his completion percentage, where he completed just 57.8 percent of his passes last year.

Fearless Prediction: The second half winning streak last year gives hope that the Tigers can put a full season together and have a very good 2018 season. Playing in the SEC East Division is a help but still has Alabama and South Carolina in cross-over games this year. But look for the Tigers to finish in the top half of the division standings and to improve on the seven-win total from last year.
