Fearless Predictions
Georgetown (5-2, 1-1) at Lehigh (3-3, 1-1), Saturday October 26th, 12:30 PM, Murray Goodman Stadium, Bethlehem, PA, Patriot League Network
You can read our preview here and a more comprehensive preview here. Lehigh was picked fifth in the Patriot League, but have beaten two of the teams picked to finish ahead of them already in Colgate and Fordham. This week, it’s Georgetown’s turn. Lehigh 24, Georgetown 13
Colgate (1-7, 0-2) at Holy Cross (3-4, 1-0), Saturday October 26th, 1:00 PM, Fitton Field, Worcester, MA, Patriot League Network
Can Colgate’s first win of the year, over rival Cornell, kick-start a decent stretch in Patriot League play? Not with the Crusaders at home, who simply seem further along. Holy Cross doesn’t trip to set up a showdown with Lehigh next week. Holy Cross 27, Colgate 13
Bucknell (1-6 ,1-1) at Lafayette (0-7, 0-1), Saturday October 26th, 3:30 PM, Fisher Stadium, Easton, PA, Patriot League Network
Two weeks ago, Bucknell head coach Dave Cecchini got his first win as the Bison head football coach last week by pulling out all the stops and not letting up through four quarters. Can they do it again in Easton? The Leopards are desperate for a win, and this is their best shot at one. I think Lafayette finds a way to get their first victory. Lafayette 30, Bucknell 21
