Final Projected 2022 FCS Playoff Bracket
Many have said it’s something you should do at least once in your life. Whether you’re a Lehigh person, a Lafayette person, whether you’re from the Lehigh Valley, whether you consider yourself a college football fan, it’s a pilgrimage, a bucket list item.
It is now at crunch time as we enter the last week of the regular season. The Week 11 results make the MVFC field a little muddled. We do know that South Dakota State is the outright champion of the league and North Dakota State will finish in second in the standings. The Jackrabbits will.

When Lehigh (1-8, 1-3 Patriot League) faces off against Colgate (3-6, 2-2 Patriot League) this weekend at Murray Goodman Stadium, there will be stakes.
It was only a matter of time before Geno Hess put his name atop the record book at Southeast Missouri State University. And he did so in a resounding way as the Redhawks rolled over Tennessee State 42-0 on Nov. 5 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
South Dakota State is the MVFC champion, well at least co-champion right now after the Jackrabbits won a tough road contest this past week over Northern Iowa. The Jacks have claimed the automatic qualifier for the league and will look to be at least a Top 2 seed in the playoffs by winning their last.

WORCESTER, MA – Watching last week’s thrilling Holy Cross/Fordham game as someone who’s watched a lot of Lehigh football in my life, it was hard to not get flashbacks. The thrilling 53-52 win by Holy Cross (8-0, 4-0) over Fordham (6-2, 2-1) was unquestionably the game of the year in the Patriot League, if not.
It is becoming crunch time in the MVFC right now as teams are jockeying for playoff spots. The title though looks to go through Brookings, South Dakota this year as South Dakota State is the only undefeated team left in the MVFC play. South Dakota State has taken a firm grip on the MVFC race following the Jackrabbits second straight road win in the state of North Dakota. SDSU defeated UND in Grand Forks this past week a week after also defeating North Dakota State in Fargo. The Jacks defeated the Fighting Hawks in somewhat of a similar.
